Weeeeee!

As previously reported on Slashdot, my beloved MythTV has been selected as a Google: Summer of Code participant.

That means this alluring list of features may be accomplished this summer and available, which seriously rocks the casbah. I will likely not assist in undertaking any of this, as my day-job cramps my available coding time. That, and the wife would probably kill me if I did anything else that diverted my attention as much as coding does from our together time. Even if it was to further the awesomeness that is Myth.

But nonetheless, this is good news. Automatic configuration and a UI redesign would seriously be fantastic. 🙂
