I was trolling around on YouTube for some new karate videos tonight and came across this one of Shokei Matsui accomplishing the feat of sparring 100 opponents, one by one. Upon further analysis, it seems that there is some sort of macabre register for people that have also done this feat, one of which can be found here. It appears that some have kept track of wins/losses and point breakdowns of their attempts. Two minute matches mean that 100 opponents, measured back to back with no rest time in between bouts could last over three hours of solid sparring with fresh opponents. That’s INSANITY.
This website asserts that Mas Oyama accomplished this feat for 300 opponents. If that is true, it is incredible.
