I am pleased to report that no one exploded this year, and I didn’t have a hangover. This was an important positive to note, because my New Years Day consisted of visiting several office parties.
One was at my supervisor’s very impressive house in Morton, the other was at the lakeside property of one

1.) Continue paying off my credit cards.
2.) Study, research, and participate in sparring more this year.
3.) Maintain my progress at Sochin, embark upon learning the remaining three new kata for the Sandan exam.
Measurements for #1 should be easy. I’m going to have to work on some metrics to keep me honest on #2 and #3, but maybe I can put my heads together with my dojomates and come up with something. But that’s it for a first draft, if anything else needs added we’ll get that done before January is past!
Happy New Years, everyone!
