I woke up today to MORE SNOW. I just measured it a bit ago and it was 15″ to 20″ in my back yard depending on where I placed my yardstick. There are drifts that are much taller than that. Thankfully, a kid showed up at my door (we heard him breaking the snowdrifts prior to the doorbell ringing) asking to shovel our sidewalk and driveway. “Pay based on how good of a job I do” he said. “NO problem” I said. About an hour and a half later, he was a happy kid because I sure as heck didn’t want to do that job and therefore he did a great job.
I hope someone with a snow plow is able to hit our side road tomorrow… the dumbass neighbors across the street finally moved their SUV out of the road so there’s hope. Last time I checked, there was still a swath of snow between my clear driveway and the ruts in the street. I’m going to try to get to work tomorrow, I bet my neighborhood is the worst part of the commute.
Teddy’s loving the snow, asking to go out every few minutes so he can romp around outside. It’s funny to watch him try to find a place to pee amid snow up past his belly!
