Happy early birthday to me!

I came home tonight to find Tasha cleaning the garage!  She was looking for sheets for the new bed, and we’re expecting some houseguests soon that will need to use said bedsheets.  The garage is now well on the way to being clear enough to get both cars in there… she did a great job.

I was happy to find that the other piece of Tasha’s birthday present showed up tonight, so Tasha and I had our birthday exchange.  Some of my coworkers are coming over tomorrow night to help celebrate my birthday with some Rock Band, so we exchanged presents tonight.  She got me Death Cab for Cutie sheet music/tablature for their Narrow Stairs album, the whole series of “Get Smart” on DVD, and “Across the Universe” on BluRay.  She’s so great!

It’s shaping up to be a great week, I can’t wait to churn through my workday tomorrow to get to the party!  It’s weird being around friends instead of family, but at least I’ve got friends!  I also found out that Death Cab for Cutie is going to be playing a show at Red Rocks in July, we’re SO going to that!  Tickets go on sale Friday!
