Far too early to take something in the rear like this…

For those of you that follow along on such things, I am teaching a red belt student at 6 am out of the goodness of my heart this semester. Ed still wants him to pay tuition, naturally, so he left the kid a tuition form. I feel it necessary to share with you the contents of this form:

Pre-Karate (age 4-6) M W 5:00 – 5:50 pm $160
Youth (age 7-12) M W 6:00 – 7:25 pm $272
Adults/Teens M W 7:30 – 8:30 pm $205
Adults/Teens M W 7:30 – 9:00 pm $272 (this constitutes an extra half-hour of sparring training over the previous class)
Adult Instructor Training Tues Evenings (guaranteed 50 hrs) $755
Instructor Training Refresher (Fall/Winter Only) $250
Unlimited Training Flex Time $318

You can get 10% off if you sign up someone with you in the beginner class.

Now, this setup that I am instructing for this kid is supposed to take the place of him being able to make the M W 7:30-8:30 class, which should cost $205, but for some reason unbeknownst to me, Ed is charging him $250. For some strange reason, Ed is offering to settle up with me by offering my training time free as well as finishing the Instructor Training Course (which he offered to me for free as payment for COBOL tutoring) this semester if I’d like.

Fun stuff, I’m not sure how hard these people are going to take it in the butt before they start just biting the bullet and driving to adjacent towns to train elsewhere.
